Bronil™

Bronil™ contains Tiamulin Hydrogen Fumarate, an antibiotic of the Pleuromutilin group. As well as Mycoplasma gallispeticum, Mycoplasma synoviae, Spirochetosis, it is highly effective against several other gram-positive bacteria. Bronil™ has higher efficacy than other macrolides.

Clinical Sign Of Mycoplasma SPP. Infection:

  • Nasal and ocular discharge, rattling in windpipes, coughing, sneezing and shaking of the head.
  • Feed consumption drop leading to drop in egg production & weight loss.
  • Slow growth, lameness
  • Poor FCR & sharp decline in weight gain

Dose

Bronil™ 10% & Bronil™ 80%

Dose Application duration
Broiler, Layer & Breeder Prevention: 15 mg (Tiamulin hydrogen fumarate) per kg body weight 3-5 days & repeat every 4 weeks
Treatment: 20-25 mg (Tiamulin hydrogen fumarate) per kg body weight 3-5 days

Administration

  • Bronil™ 10% should be administered through feed.
  • Bronil™ 80% can be given through drinking water as well as feed.

Bronil™

In poultry Tiamulin interferes with Ionophore anticoccidials such as Monensin, Narasin and Salinomycin metabolism and presence of these drugs together with Tiamulin becomes toxic. Hence above anticoccidials should be avoided 7 days prior, during the treatment and 7 days after Tiamulin treatment.

  • Broilers- 3 days
